"We've been using them for several years after Allstate decided very very suddenly to stop insuring Alaska for earthquakes. (Right after an earthquake that caused us no damage) He has very good rates. The secretary is great and can answer any questions when he is not available. They cover our house and 3 cars."

"I am very disappointed with the unprofessional service provided by State Farm. While my boyfriend was living in the same area and actively serving in the military, everything worked well with his policy. However, after he relocated to a different city, the experience has become extremely frustrating. Even though the policy is under his name, he is unable to communicate directly with the company. Instead, I am required to set up three-way calls because his access appears to be restricted. It is unacceptable that they are unwilling to speak with him yet have no issue continuing to charge his account. On Friday, April 10, 2026, he called to cancel his services. Despite this, they still processed the monthly payment. Now, they are telling him he must wait seven days for the bank to return the money. This level of customer service is very disappointing. Charging a customer after a cancellation request and making it difficult for them to communicate is simply not acceptable."

"I contacted Doug McCann's office yesterday with a family emergency. David Ivins, an account manager at Doug's office, was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to review different options with me and was able to restructure two lines of insurance to not only save a little money but to move it to autopay so payments didn't get missed. "I had a business workers comp policy with this group. We closed in July 2025. I kept getting bills for 300 some off dollars. I called multiple times. Most of the time I left a message with reception to then never receive a call back. When I finally talked to the agent, Jack, he said I was billed because I never filled out quarterly audit but that he could reopen it and I could complete it, which I did. I called several more times and left several more messages as I kept receiving bills. Finally at the end of January 2026, I finally got ahold of Jack again and he informed me that even though I only had the policy for 2 months I had to pay for the entire year. He wasn't even aware of this and said he found it in the fine print. I asked him how a business that is closed with no money is supposed to pay a 300 dollar bill and he said that's a decision the owner would have to make. Overall not impressed with the business in general and not impressed with an agent who couldn't be bothered to take 3p seconds to update me on any of this until I became the squeaky wheel. 10/10 do not recommend."
